Summary:

Fourteen years after the Final Battle, Hermione Granger is finally content with her life.  Ensconced three years earlier as Hogwart's newest Potions Professor, she’s carefully crafted a steady, familiar world that’s miles away from the secrets and mistakes haunting her past.  But a surprise announcement at the start-of-term Feast is about to change all that.

 

Convalescing at St. Mungo’s, Severus Snape has spent the last fourteen years existing in a state of semi-Petrification, un-aged and very much unchanged.  The sudden awakening of the venerated war-hero is heralded throughout the land, but the reclusive Snape desires nothing more than a return to his post as Potions Professor at Hogwart’s.

 

Sparks begin to fly when the two Professors are forced to work together, their strong personalities clashing at each turn.  The tension builds even as they find their immense dislike for one another tempered by a begrudging respect.  As a tenuous understanding blossoms, so too does a mutual attraction, igniting a passion that cannot be denied even as it is being threatened. 

 

For a predator lurks in the shadows, with a macabre plan to alter the course of the wizarding world forever.  Trying to outmaneuver an evil that will stop at nothing to achieve its goals, they devise a cunning plan of their own and embark on a journey marked by danger and discovery.  One will find out that no secret is ever safe, while the other will learn the past cannot be buried.  With so much at stake, will the pair be able to pass the ultimate test of trust and love?

I need someone to help polish my grammar, and I would love some advice on pacing, flow, and plot.  I’d rather shed a tear over a brutally honest critique that teaches me something than be falsely flattered.

Ж-Men...but not the ones you might expect!
This week LJ Russia launched Ж-Men, a new comedy series about superheroes, inspired by the LJ communities dedicated to superheros, comics and cartoons. The title's "Ж" comes from ЖЖ, the nickname for LiveJournal in Russia.

Ж-Men's script is written by a group of LJ enthusiasts who also happen to be television professionals. Who knew? Following the premiere, five more episodes will be broadcast over the next two weeks. We hope you find the series fresh and enjoyable.

This is, of course, an experiment for LiveJournal. As always, we'd love to hear what you think!

* Additional Comments: I'm on the third chapter but i haven't sent in my prologue yet. I'm not terribly good with the whole editing process. Theres a bit of work on it that needs to be done even with the spell check on my MS Word.  I would like just basic grammar and spelling. if you want to correct  more feel free. im just asking for the basics at your convenience. i wouldn't also mind some constructive criticism or "comprehensive critique". I can also take brutal honesty but keep it nice. :)
i don't really have a dead line but i want to get the first chapter out as soon as possible and the chapters fallowing two weeks apart.
